Colonial skating club of pa

The Colonial Skating Club of Pennsylvania Since
1960, our club has been a proud member affiliate of U.S. Figure Skating, the national governing body for the sport of figure skating in the United States. Our club members represent all ages and abilities, from beginner ice skaters to seasoned competitive athletes. Our coaches are nationally recognized, certified, and accredited by U.S. Figure Skating and the Professional Skaters Association. We regularly host events and clinics, test sessions, shows, and competitions. Our members represent our club in local, regional, national, and international competitions at all levels. We look forward to welcoming you to our friendly club!

USFS sponsors a Learn to Skate program which is administered by our rink management, and supported and taught by our certified and accredited Colonial coaches. The Learn to Skate program is where most skaters will begin, progressing through the snowplow, basic skills, and freestyle levels. Next, some skaters will continue to our Colonial Accelerated Program to focus on achieving skills at a faster pace. Private lessons are also available to help skaters prepare for more advanced levels, tests, shows, and competitions, or for those skaters that prefer one-to-one instruction at any level.

Our coaching staff is a strong team that takes pride in teamwork and supporting eachother and our skaters. They have earned many achievements personally and together with their athletes. Our Colonial coaches are certified in multiple skating disciplines including Moves In the Field, Freestyle, Ice Dance, Pairs, Synchronized Skating, Hockey, and are accredited through U.S. Figure Skating and the Professional Skaters Association.

The Colonial Skating Club is proud of all of our skaters and coaches, both on the ice and off the ice, as they conquer challenges and achieve their dreams on their paths to amazing new worlds. We welcome all to our fun and friendly club!
