The Colonial Skating Club of Pennsylvania has been existence since 1960 and is proudly an affiliate member of the United States Figure Skating Association and the Association of Philadelphia Area Figure Skating Clubs.
The Colonial Skating Club is governed by a volunteer board of directors whose goal is to promote the understanding and appreciation of all forms of skating while helping skaters to achieve their individual goals in an atmosphere of good sportsmanship. These objectives are carried out in accordance with the policies of the USFSA.

Skating Club President

Nicole coaches skaters of all ages for over 15 years. She teaches kindergarten in the Bensalem Township School District. She is available for both group and private lessons.
Figure Skating Coach
Coach Niki is a PSA and USFSA member, Double Gold Medalist in Freestyle and Moves in the Field. She is also a Certified Personal Trainer who teaches off ice strength and conditioning classes and has been coaching for over 15 years.

Figure Skating Coach, Certified Personal Trainer
Kara is a Learn-to-Skate Instructor with our program, with 15 years of skating experience as a competitive and show skater. She has been a Silver Medalist at the Keystone State Games of America and a Gold Medalist multiple times at the Philadelphia Areas Skating Championship and Hershey Open as well as skate show performer at different venues in PA and NJ.
Kara coaches most of our beginner and youngest skaters in figure skating and pre-hockey skating skills and focuses on Freestyle and showcase programs as well as Moves in the Field.
She is currently working on achieving her degree in Child Psychology and Child Life Advocacy.
Figure Skating Coach
Monica is a USFSA Member/Registered Coach and PSA Master Rated Professional who has trained figure skaters from beginners to Olympic Competitors. In addition to coaching figure skaters for 20+ years, Monica has also been involved in the local and travel Ice Hockey Community as a Power Skating Instructor and AAA Coach for organizations such as Philadelphia JR Flyers and the Pennsylvania Vampires.
Monica's early involvement with figure skating included training and competing locally before turning professional. She enjoyed performing and touring the world for 10 years with numerous shows including the Ice Follies and Holiday on Ice in the capacities of Performance Director, Choreographer, Understudy, Swing, and Chorus.
Andrea is a USFS certified and PSA rated coach with 20+ years of experience.
She holds multiple PSA ratings including Sports Science, Group, Moves in Filed, and Choreography.
She is a former competitive figure skater and touring company member of a semi-professional ballet and character dance troupe, and holds a BA Degree in Communications.
Andrea coaches beginners through competitive skaters and is an artistic choreographer for individuals as well as ensemble ice show productions. She specializes in freestyle, moves in the field, choreography, artistry, and beginner power/hockey skating skills.
Coach Shay is a National Coach for Solo Dance with a PSA Certification Category A and has been coaching more than 25 years.
She is a 4 time USFS Adult Ice Dance Champion, 3 time ISU Adult International Ice Dance Champion and USFS Gold Medalist in Ice Dance and Moves in the Field. Shay is currently training for a 5th season with her partner to compete at the 2018 USFS Adult National Championships.
