Geoff brings over 15 years of hockey and management experience to the Revolution Ice Gardens and the Philadelphia Revolution Hockey Club. He holds an MBA with specialization in Athletic Administration and a certificate in Sports Management from Southern New Hampshire University.
Prior to joining the Rev Family, Geoff served as the General Manager for the Philadelphia Jr. Flyers Hockey Club in 2016-17 and spent 6 years in the North American Hockey League (NAHL) in various roles from 2010-2016.
Geoff spent three seasons as the Assistant General Manager, Director of Hockey Operations, and Head Coach of the Kenai River Brown Bears as well as three seasons as the Director of Player Personnel and Assistant Coach of the Fairbanks Ice Dogs. While in Fairbanks, he helped guide the Ice Dogs to a National Championship (2011), a Western Division Title (2012), and a Western Division Final appearance (2013).
Prior to coaching in Fairbanks, Coach "Bo" spent two years as the Assistant Coach for the Columbus (GA) Cottonmouths of the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL), where he was also responsible for securing corporate sponsorships for the club. In addition to his role with the Cottonmouths, he owned and operated International Sports Enterprises, a company that focused on the long-term development of athletes.
Before moving to Columbus, Geoff spent three years coaching Midget AAA and Junior hockey in Philadelphia and central Pennsylvania, including the 2007-2008 season where, as head coach, he led the Central Penn Panthers (Metropolitan Junior Hockey League) to a quarterfinal appearance in the Keegan Cup playoffs and was named the South Conference Head Coach for the All-Star Game.
Geoff got his start in rink management in 2005 where he served as the Rink Manager and Hockey Director at Ice Land in Trenton, NJ.
A native of Georgetown, Ontario, Canada, Geoff played in the Ontario Junior A Hockey League prior to attending Penn State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition Science and helped backstop the Nittany Lions to three consecutive Division I ACHA National Championships.
Paul brings over 16 years of experience in the ice rink industry to the Revolution Ice Gardens. During those years Paul has served as a Hockey Director and Assistant General Manager at various rinks in the Philadelphia region as well as holding the position of General Manager of the Class of 1923 Arena on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania.
Paul grew up playing Tier 1 hockey in Maine, being selected to the New England festival team four times. In addition, Paul played on two state championship teams before attending prep school at North Yarmouth Academy and Milton Academy. After graduating prep school, he began his coaching career in 1999 where, over those years, he has coached at all levels from Mites to College.
Paul comes to the Rev Family after having coached and managed the Jr. Flyers Tier 1 Youth, Junior, and Girls organization for the past 8 seasons. During his tenure with the Jr. Flyers, he guided teams to the AYHL regular season title and AAHA District Championships in 2015, the MAWHA regular season title in 2017, and finally served as an Assistant Coach with the U18 boys team that won the AYHL Playoffs, AAHA District Championships and an appearance at the USA Hockey National Championships in 2012.
Prior to his days coaching youth and girls hockey, Paul coached at the collegiate level for 7 seasons. Over that time, he coached at Temple University and the University of Maryland-Baltimore County (UMBC), leading UMBC to three appearances at the ACHA National Championships.
Paul currently holds all certifications offered by the US Ice Rink Association including Certified Ice Technician, Certified Rink Administrator, and Certified Ice Rink Manager. He has achieved the Certified Hockey Director classification granted by USA Hockey through the US Ice Rink Association and holds a USA Hockey Level 4 coaching accreditation.
ADULT LEAGUE DIRECTOR
Scott is a USA Hockey Level 5 Coach and has been coaching in the area for 20 years. He has coached from Mites to Midget teams as well as Middle School and Varsity programs. Scott has been involved with Archbishop Wood High School Ice Hockey program for 15 years and also spent time in the Revolution Junior program.
Scott is an accountant during the day who has served the township of Warminster on the planning and zoning boards for more than 20 years. He is a volunteer fire fighter with Hartsville Fire Company.
Scott joined the Revolution Ice Gardens family in 2009 where he has been tasked in various roles. In addition to his role as Adult League Director, he currently serves as a Manager on Duty.
Melissa joins us from the attractions industry where she most recently served Adventure Aquarium for nearly 10 years. She has 18 years of Marketing experience and is a passionate hockey mom. "I am excited to work with the Revolution Ice Gardens to instill and nurture the passion for hockey among the community surrounding the Ice Gardens".
Barb Young has been associated with the rink since it was built the 1994/1995 season. Being a volunteer with the rink and all the associations, affiliated with our rink , since it's inception, has been one of her life long dreams. She then became an employee of the rink 13 years ago, as the office manager, creating a unity between the rink, all their affiliates, and all their members. Barb makes sure that all operations on the office side of the business are fulfilled , as well as maintaining the relationship of the teams and associations affiliated with the rink. She works closely with all management teams to make sure that all communications are set forth and communicated to the general public. Her love of family, the hockey family as well as her own family, are at the top of her list! She has done all tasks, from beginning to end, and is dedicated to the positive and informational pieces of the rink to communicate and implement the positive and collaborative relationship with everyone associated with our rink. From the very novice, players to the elite side, her dedication is there.
She is there for everything and everyone who has needed an answer to any question asked and her loyalty to the rink and all its affiliates is not only obvious , but also sincere!
Jennifer is a business owner and experienced hockey parent joining our team as tournament director. Her creative and organizational skills, attention to detail, team effort and spirit are a welcome addition to our staff. She currently manages the Revolution Youth U12 Gold team.
Lexi has been a member of the skating community for over sixteen years and is a US Figure Skating member. She has worked as a coach for the past six years and is a 2017 graduate of Penn State University. While at PSU, she was part of the Penn State Collegiate Figure Skating team and served as President of the club for three years. She also currently competes as an adult skater.
