Programs Offered

Snow Plow Sam 1-3 (Ages 4-6)
This is the beginning step of Learn to Skate.  Our instructors will work on the fundamentals of standing, falling, getting up, and marching.  USFSA designed the pre-school level of their program to help develop confidence, coordination, and strength on ice skates!

Basic Skills 1-8 (Ages 6 & UP)
The BASIC SKILLS are the fundamentals of the sport.  These eight levels of the program introduce the fundamental moves: Forward Skating, Backward Skating, Stops, Edges, Crossovers, Turns, and Mohawks.  Upon completion of the BASIC 1-8 levels, skaters will have a basic knowledge of the sport, enabling them to advance to more specialized areas of skating.

Free Skate 1-8 (Ages 6 & UP)
The FREE SKATE 1-8 section of the program is a building block for figure skating.  Each level is divided into four sections.  The FREE SKATE levels are designed to give skaters a strong foundation on which to build their skills.  This is the point where the skater can choose whether to pursue a recreational or competitive approach to the sport of ice skating.

Hockey Skating 1-4 (All Ages)
HOCKEY SKATING 1-4  is an option after completing BASIC SKILLS program or with our staff recommendation.  This will start the introduction for Ice Hockey training in three levels of skill training needed to play ice hockey.

Adult Skating 1-8 (Over 18)
Our ADULT SKATING will teach the core fundamentals needed for the recreational skater.  This program will mirror and streamline the BASIC SKILLS 1-4 program into an Adult Skating 1-6.  Our EXPERT instructors will teach the skaters proper balance, strides, and stops!   We will also instruct on the fundamental safeties to ensure a fun and enjoyable skate each and every time on the ice!  At the end of our program, each participant should expect to have increased strength, flexibility, coordination, and be in overall better shape all while exploring the wonderful sport of ice skating!
